Greater Mount Zion Bible College and Seminary was founded to provide accessible, high-quality theological education for those called to ministry, equipping the saints for the work of service. Rooted in evangelical scholarship, we emphasize a practical, real-world approach—preparing Spirit-filled leaders through strong biblical teaching and hands-on ministry training. Our graduates serve around the world as pastors, missionaries, teachers, and counselors, carrying a solid foundation of faith and practice. PURPOSE

Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

GREATER MOUNT ZION BIBLE INSTITUTE AND SEMINARY is a non-profit, evangelical, interdenominational ministry specializing in on and off campus theological and ministerial training.

The purpose of this seminary is to provide basic training and continuing education opportunities for ministers, Bible teachers, and Christian workers. This task is achieved with a positive commitment to the Bible as the final authority in all matters. Our basis of fellowship is with other believers is the Cross of Christ.

Graduates have gone into “all the world” as commanded by Christ in Mark 16:15. They include pastors, evangelists, teachers, missionaries, education directors, professors, musicians, denominational officials, and chaplains.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God, the revelation of His mind and will to man, our infallible, all sufficient guide for salvation and for the Christian life.

We believe in one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he is true God and true man begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and that He lead a perfect and sinless humanity.

We believe in the depravity of the nature of man through his fall in the Garden of Eden, and the absolute inability of man to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works.

We believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross of

Calvary, through which sacrifice Christ has affected complete and eternal redemption. God setting His seal of approval on the work of Christ by raising Him from the dead and enthroning Him at His own right hand in Heaven. He is the Head of the Church, the Lord of the individual, the High Priest over the House of God and advocate in the family of God.
